A unique curriculum will combine core skills in numeracy and literacy with specialist technical studies in health sciences and engineering technologies and testing practical projects from local employers. Employers will mentor and support students with guest classes, technical support and site visits. The employers will also provide facilities, placements and internships and ‘industry real’ experience. The curriculum is designed to stimulate students and bring traditional academic subjects to life.
Students may enter the UTC at Year 10 (aged 14) and Year 12 (aged 16).
