Some of our sixth form students have completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award expedition.
Over the past year, the students have volunteered at the hospital, taken up new hobbies as a team and kept themselves fit and healthy as part of the challenging programme.

Students benefited from the unique offer at UTC Bolton to complete the expedition by canoeing. Students had a grueling three days; canoeing for 6 hours per day, as well as two nights camping, and cooking all their own food. It was challenging, yet very rewarding. A massive congratulations to our fantastic students.
Roll on next year where we will be rolling out Bronze and Silver Awards with our keen students
